Huh. I would suspect your club will have a fairly exclusive membership roll.

Congrats on making that happen though, it seems like you had quite the wait.

Do they put the map of Detroit on the door panels in that model?

Factory conversion or a custom shop?

Fantastic! "Picked Up: 17 Nov 2023" That's today for us and yesterday for you right?! How many KR F-150 5.0s do you see? I'm thinking you are in a very exclusive club indeed.

Wow, could you post some pictures showing how the steering column is routed under the hood, excuse me, bonnet? Was the AC system relocated to the left side? Did they relocate the door keypad to the right side?
Will do Mark, ASAP. They added an additional keypad to the right side, so I have two 🤣

All King Ranch trucks have wood veneer in that spot (were talking about the drop-down in the door, under the door mirror I think?). A company who has been converting f-trucks for many years did it, they're called Vehicle Development Corporation.

So odd to see everything mirrored. What donor vehicles do they use to get the parts? Are expeditions or something sold there? No blue cruise I see. Do you at least get lane centering?

Kudos for your Gen14 F150 dedication, persistence, and perseverance.

But mostly congratulations for the rare CORRECT truck that is your reward to enjoy for many years.

Only in Oz ... ;)

🤞 :)

Any parts they need (steering racks, brake lines, plastic trims etc.) they manufacture. No donor vehicles 🙂 and yes, all copilot assist 2.0 functions👍

2012.
The wife and I crisscrossed the lower half of your amazing country on an adventure bike. 14 days of making cherished memories.

Stopped in at a Ford Dealer in Wodonga, while heading for the Australian Alps.

If I recollect correctly, I was told that they could fetch me an F150, do the necessary conversion, all for the cool sum of ~$125K 😎

That was a dozen years ago.

Yep. A Gen14 KingRanch has got to be a fun way to travel in OZ.

Absolutely awesome country. We met so many wonderful folks. And the only place I have seen with more cattle is Texas. Lol

My cousin went to Australia this last April, he told me the Coyote is quite famous in Australia. Apparently the Ford Falcon, which looks like a Taurus, got the options of the 5.0 Coyote and a supercharged 5.0 on top of the Barra option. I have heard of the Barra, that was another masterpiece of an engine we Americans didn’t get to experience. If ford put the 5.0 in the Taurus that would have been so badass lol. What a sleeper.

For those who don’t know, the Barra was an Inline-6 produced by Ford Australia, 4 liters. Amazingly reliable engine with great power potential with minor modifications.
