Noise when on uneven ground

Hey everyone. not sure if it is actually chassis related or suspension but wondering if anyone has had the same issue I'm having. When coming into my driveway which is uneven I hear a pretty loud clunking sound. I don't see anything out of the ordinary when underneath.

Have you done any suspension mods to it? IE: front leveling blocks, or struts/shocks? If so might want to check to make sure everything is tight like control arms, sway bar end links etc.

No mods at all besides adding a tonneau cover.

Check the spare tire. It may not be raised all the way up and could be knocking around back there.

I had the same issue, the bed mounting bolts needed to be tightened up.

I have a 2021 (purchased new in 2022) F150 XL that made a clunking sound caused by the frame twisting on uneven ground.
TSB 22-2283 addressed the issue - The dealer replaced the U bolts.
You may find it useful to search the 2023 model year TSBs to see if one applies to your truck.
