They are pretty good in the rain. Not as good as an all season, but they get plenty of traction. The only slipping seems to occur when pulling away from a stop. That could be the way I drive though. They work great once you’re moving. No hydroplaning and they feel sure footed in the corners.

I have the 35x11.5R20 on my truck. I think they ride well for an aggressive-ish all terrain. Not loud either. Traction on pavement in the rain is subpar for me though. They are wearing like iron. 35k miles on them and I bet I'll easily get another 35k.

Did you have to level your truck?

Yes. Lifted front by approx 2" with adjustable Eibach coilover. Stock BAP 20" wheels. No rubbing. No trimming. Active Air Dam still functional.

Long time listener, first time caller here. Do you happen to have an actual tire measurement with them on the truck? I’m curious to know if they are actually 34” mounted, or closer to 33”.

I have the same tires ready to be put on my new ‘23 as soon as I level the front. Had LT Recons on my 17 and loved them, but the ride sucked.

The Ridge Grapplers are a quiet and good handling tire but the ones I had required 80 PSI which was a problem as I needed to use my own compressor to get that amount of pressure. They lasted for over 40,000 miles or about average for an AT tire. The side profile allows them to float better when on snow or sand.

I also have the 275/65/20 recons and get the same milage as the stock Hancooks. I've been running 38 PSI instead of the recommended 36 for stock. What pressure is everyone running?

Funny you mention this. I’m running the same set up and noticed I had slipped to 34-35 psi. Filled them to 38 like you and an getting a full mpg better over the last several tanks- up to 22.5 mpg overall with mixed city and highway- just slightly below the 23 I was getting on the stock Hankooks.

I measured it today and at 35 psi and 9/32 tread they are right at 33.5” on the front.

What color is your truck? It looks amazing.

Thanks! Atlas Blue. Few shots with the tires on and a 2.5” level. My only real complaint is that I love a tire with a square shoulder profile— 285 or 295s give the Recon that look, but I didn’t want to go with another LT tire again. But overall I’m satisfied with the look and Perfomance.
