New feature suggestion: haptic feedback with fob

It would be nice if the fob vibrated to let you know you locked the truck vs honk the horn. I know the fob can receive from the truck (the green light indicating remote start worked), so adding a little haptic vibration to the key fob would be nice. Do any other brands/models do this?

Could also chime and vibrate if security system is triggered (if truck is within range) so you know it's your truck's horn going crazy and not one of the other 12 F-150s in the parking lot Just a thought.

Make it solar powered! Little nook on the dash to keep your key fob when driving. Kidding. Mostly. The truck could recharge the fob every once in a while.

I'd buy fresh batteries to get that feature!

I'd even be willing to pay for an upgraded FOB with WiFi capabilities to have it support the features in FordPass.

So cloud based remote/start. Securalert. OTA notifications.......

All sounds nifty but I'm not in favor of anything that might increase the size of the IMO already too large fob one iota.

My wish is for a smaller fob in every dimension; reducing the thickness would be a good start, every little bit would help.

Sorry, just a jaded guy still waiting on his March ordered truck.

Would be nice if those features were built into FordPass though. Thinking of vibrate settings you can set for individual contacts(Samsung).
