Definitely didn’t offer. I had to escalate and then basically shame them into telling me on record that Ford considers it ok to receive a rusty, brand new $80k vehicle. Of course they wouldn’t do that. I told him I got my previous 3 $80-95k BMWs without a spec of dust and sold them the same way after years of use.
They eventually said their body shop would look at it and then just notified me it would be addressed through an offsite service for underbody spray and treatment.

Thanks for the report. I'm really dreading this conversation. At this point i'm just assuming my truck is going arrive with rust. Hopefully it's not too much an issue.

I can tell you, my wife is going to go over my truck with a fine tooth comb, based on the price tag. It cannot leave the dealer until I know I won't get questions from the boss.

I also have a 2021 AMB Limited. When mine arrived at the dealer I noticed both Powerboost emblems were off approximately 1/8 to 1/4” from being level. I’ve since shaved the Powerboost and Limited hood letters. I’ve noticed in some of the pictures posted it looks like others are having the same issue. How many others are receiving their Powerboost trucks with the Powerboost emblems not level?

Very nice detailed pictures. Did you run out of film in that camera?I’m gonna use this thread to document my 2021 AMB Limited and the mods I plan to do.
Vehicle arrived at dealership today, 1 day ahead of the published ETA date. Dealer called me to come down and do an inspection. The following pics are the ones I took to document the state of the vehicle pre-PDI. Some pics may seem strange to some but others will know why that particular angle or part was photographed.
My new wheels and tires go on tomorrow and ceramic tint on Friday morning. Then I pick it up assuming the dealership has addressed the axle rust to my satisfaction.
If anyone is interested in a mint set of Limited 22 inch wheel and General Grabber tires let me know. I will probably sell them private sale over the next few weeks.

Another update...Line-X Platinum done. They did a great job, very thorough, everything removed (ProPower, tailgate work surface, boxlink, etc). One item of note for anyone getting it done...when your tailgate harness is unplugged and tailgate switches to manual mode and you have to accept a prompt on the screen to re-enable to automated/motorized mode. Another words, no, they did not break the tailgate when they removed it.
Up next, Retrax Pro XR tonneau cover.
Also, I asked them to also hit the bed bolts with Line-X if anyone is wondering why they’re also black.

Did they remove the bed bolts, spray, replace and then spray the bolt areas again? Or just never removed them? Curious if they recommended removal. Recall seeing somewhere that the bed bolts are now one-time use.
