I have not been shocked from the truck yet. I am also an electrician who now specializes in high voltage subs. I get static shocks all the time so i know the feeling and would be very disturbed if i felt it from my truck.

I did have the GF problem in the past that Ford could not figure out. It magically disappeared after a software update. Maybe you found that they turned up the setting? Was your truck wet? That was the cause of the GF in the system until it dried out. (you can look for the thread as there is to much to type all what i inspected here.)

dry as can be! I'm going to attribute it to being under the high voltage lines and static as it hasn't happened again

DC or AC? I'm sure if you saw AC you'd be pointing at the pro-power system having a chaffe somewhere, though I would image they'd bond the frame so it would short out if it were in a fault condition...
