Has anyone still waiting on 2021 to be schedued thought of ordering a 2022?

I would be OK with my order being rolled to 2022 as long as I can keep the 0% financing and not go to the back of the line in the order bank.

I put an order in around sept 5th for a 2021 xlt. I started reading about the 2022 models being set for November 15th and how they’re offering a new black appearance package. I also saw that if your order doesn’t get accepted as a 2021 you have to resubmit for a 2022 as they don’t automatically switch over to a 2022 model so I emailed my dealer asking if it would be wise to submit a 2022 order. They emailed me back and told me that my truck is scheduled for the week of November 8th and that although the 2022’s are scheduled to be built soon, Canada won’t get many allocations for 2022 models and it would be unlikely to see one here until spring of 2022. I’m not really sure what I should do because I am pretty interested in that black appearance package and not exactly thrilled that I’ll receive my 2021 so close to when they’re starting to build the 2022’s.
