My 21 XLT 5.0 4x4 also has the 2.0 Fox Coilovers and the rear Fox Shocks, the ride is way better than factory, and it looks better leveled.
What size tires are you using now? What’s the impact to your MPG?

Hello everyone this is my first post. I joined this forum to share my experience leveling my truck with coil overs. My truck is a 23 Ford f150 xl 4x4 with the 5.0 and 3.73 gears.

I originally decided to go with Rancho Quick lifts. I had used them before on a 2017 Ram and they worked out really well. With this Ford the Ranchos were not good. I installed them and instead of the 2 to 2.5 inches Rancho had said they raised it 3.25 inches. It was nose high and I didn’t care for it and the angles on my Cv axles was concerning. Then I drove it and that’s when I knew they would not be working out. The ride was horrible and it didn’t matter which setting they were on. I pulled them back off put my stock coil overs back on and sent them back to Rancho for a refund. Not bashing on Rancho I have used them in the past and had good luck with them but these were not for me.

I decided to go with Fox 2.0’s after this. They were more expensive but after installing them I can say they are worth every dime! I kept seeing that people are getting different amounts of lift from them so I wasn’t sure but they came out on my truck at just a little over 2 inches of lift which is right where I was wanting it. It sits about 1 inch higher in the rear but it looks pretty much level front to back looking at it. The ride is better then stock and I am anxious now to install them on the back as well.

Again this is on a 23 F150 xl 4x4 with 5.0. Stage 3 told me I would probably get around 1.5 inches of lift with having the V8 but it was a little over 2 inches.

Hope I could be some help to anyone considering the Fox 2.0’s. Sorry if this is poorly written I’ve never posted on any forum before and these are the only pics I have now. I can get some more if anyone would like me to.

I have a '23 tremor with the 5.0, not a big fan of the rake in the front, also not a fan of the "tremor" shocks (Why didn't ford just put fox 2.0s on it?). Anyways, looking to do the same with mine. Wondering if it's even possible with a tremor.

It’s my understanding they will fit a tremor but may not raise it as much as they would a 4x4 or fx4. The 2.0s are adjustable though. You could check fox’s website maybe and see if it has any info. You are probably familiar with it but also there is an F 150 Tremor specific forum and I would bet some of those guys would have a better answer for you.

Hi Shane150,they are 285/70r17. I installed them before the level and now they look small to me. I may go with a 285/75r17 next time.
Hank did you have any issues with rubbing before the level? I just ordered a set of 285-70-17 to replace my original 265-70-17

I do not have a level yet so hoping they fit decently we have very similar trucks

thanks!

Plenty of room without a level no rubbing at all. Here is a pic of mine with no level and the 285/70r17’s on it.

Thanks! I ordered this truck and it was between the atlas blue and carbonized grey on my color choice and in the end as you can see the grey won out. I also had a 2019 f150 back when ford called it metallic grey and I always regretted trading it so that’s the main reason I chose the grey. Here is the 2019 I had in metallic grey. I’m not so sure there is any difference between it and carbonized. I had the bilstein 5100’s in it to level it and they were really great as well.

New to this forum so hello gents … Just installed Fox 2.0 s on my new to me 21 f150 screw Fx 3.5 .. It had a horrible rake 37” up front and 41 in back .. First thing I did was remove the stupid 1” oem block .. they’re perfectly flat no slope as someone stated in a post I read .. damn heavy for what they are glad to get rid of the extra weight.. Far as the rears go I went with the Fox Adventure series and they ride just like my 2.0 performance on my 13 ..Only difference is not Rebuildable and steel body … Oh and the price 240.00 for the pair from Jack it … Saved bout 70.00 .. I care less about rebuildable or Aluminum bodies .. Rides really nice on road .. haven’t been off road yet I’m off road every weekend fishing or hunting so won’t be long before I test them in the dirt … I’m sure they’ll be great .. Loved them on my 13 screw 5.0 .. Truck now sits at 39 up front and 39.5 in back .. looks Dead Even …. Gonna go with Cooper ST Max 275/70/18 on these oem wheels with a 1.5” wheel spacer like on my 13 … Best tire I’ve ever run as long as you rotate them you can get 60k , I’ve had 5 sets and loved them great on road and off … a little loud but it’s worth the sacrifice when you use your truck like it’s made for ..

Saw one post above saying that they’d like to go 285/75/17 .. They look way better than the 70 series but with only the 2.0 Fox level they will rub and need trimming … Had them on my 2013 ..looked great but rubbed when you turn or hit a good bump .. need bout an inch more and they’d be perfect ..
little info some might know and many I’m sure don’t .. Some tires say they’re 33” and aren’t they’re 32.5 or so then some say they’re 33” and they’re 33.7 meaning almost a 34 .. because a 285/70/17 should be a 33x11.5 … not all brands stick to that .. so check the true size before you buy .. A 285/75/17 is a great size tire , looks way better than a 285/70/17 .. just needs more than a 2” level unless you wanna trim stuff ..

Powerboost here with 2.0 Fox, and BFG KO2’s in 285/70 17’s. Only rubbing is at full lock in reverse on my RokBlokz mudflaps.
