  1. Scratched window

Those headlight swirls look like the typical unclean towel dry off, probably after iits first wash. They appear to be easily removable with a polish, and also easily repeated again if you’re not a perfectionist when washing. Haven’t seen your glass yet but having the dealer pull a door panel to...
  2. Vehicles thefts Key vs PTS

In my experience (I work for the good guys ;), Most vehicles thefts are taken from home when in driveways, as criminals have time to drive around and figure out where their target vehicles live, then come back in the early morning hours and take them. But yes, anything is possible! It's a bad...
  3. Vehicles thefts Key vs PTS

Get a faraday bag to keep your keyfobs in when theyre inside your home. It will prevent any outside signal readers from connecting
  4. New 2024 F150. What accessories to get

Adjustable cargo bar from harbor freight. Cheaper and easy
  5. Hood protector recommendations?

Yeah for sure. Sure wish full PPF was in the budget, but 10k plus is insane. I’ll do the hood and mirrors. I don’t like partial panel coverage as the paint fades differently and you can see the dirty edge.
  6. Hood protector recommendations?

AVS, PPF Hood, or PPF entire truck?
  7. Hood protector recommendations?

Now that the scratch has been fixed I think I’m going straight to a PPF wrap on the hood. I’d love to do the whole truck but that stuff is $$$$. AVS products look good and are the most cost effective way to protect the leading edge of the hood, but after a short poll of my friends, they all say...
  8. My F-150 ownership was short lived

The only 7.3 I’ve ever had was a diesel excursion, and it was the best motor ever made! I have heard good things about 7.3 gasser though. Sweet truck!
  9. I did a dumb...

Thanks for the tip, and yeah I’ve learned having 3 keys is best so I’ve since ordered 2 additional fobs. But of course this will never happen again now that I’m prepared haha
  10. RIVAL Aluminum Skid Plates Ford F-150

If I didn't already have my steel RCI's on my truck I'd be very interested in these for some weight savings (I should have gone with aluminum but was feeling cheap). They look great and I hope a member buys them to review. Hopefully confirming powerboost fitment.
  11. RCI vs Tremor Skid plate swap: loss of ground clearance?

Sometimes obstacles cannot be avoided, and you have to take the line with the least likelyhood of damage. I have definitely been on trails where there was nowhere to go and I knew a skid plate was going to be hit. Skidplates are necessary if you drive where I, and I imagine others do as well. OP...
  12. New Method MR321 wheels with Nitto tires

Good looking wheel. Was gonna get a set of these in 17’s but I think 18 is the smallest. I prefer machined wheels for off road as the rock rash doesn’t show as much
  13. Ford Used Leftover 2020 wheels as spare tires?

My 22 powerboost came with this cheap thing. Quickly sold it for a matching method and Ko2. I’m sure this bologna skin would pop in about 10 feet on a rocky trail
  14. First Oil Change Mileage?

You'll get very mixed opinions on this. Some will say change immediately, others 1000 miles. I followed the oil life monitor and went to 10K and the oil didn't look low or overly dirty lol. Now I do every 5K with synthetic blend. Powerboost here.
  15. I did a dumb...

It’s a busy 4 lane “highway”, but yes I went back at 3 am, started from my house, and drove the first few miles at a crawl with my flashlight. Also obviously checked on foot near my place.
  16. I did a dumb...

Yeah I triple checked there as well.
  17. I did a dumb...

That’s what I thought until yesterday
  18. I did a dumb...

In the many many years of driving, I have never lost a set of keys so I'm really mad at myself, but yeah I'm going to be attaching an airtag now. I will get an estimate from the dealer since I'm due to go there wednesday anyways, but I'm sure a locksmith will be cheaper. Thanks! PS does anyone...
  19. I did a dumb...

The truck was remote started and running, I unlocked the truck, set the keys on the bed rail close to the cab, then got in and pushed the start button. It functioned as if the keys were inside the vehicle with me. I didn't get any kind of notification until I got to my destination and shut the...
  20. I did a dumb...

Positive. Per my ring camera pulling out of the garage, it was sitting on the bed rail as I drove away. And I have a cover on the bed so it couldn’t have fallen Into the bed of the truck.
