Fender Badges - anyone changed theirs?

I’m also thinking of replacing the chrome badges with black. I assume you ordered the black badges from Ford. Do you have a part number and cost? Thanks

Seeing OEM badges on eBay. They are nearly $200 apiece, $395 for the left and right pair! Ouch.

What do you use to remove any excess glue after removing the decals? Thanks!

Try goo gone or I always keep a can of 3M adhesive remover around. That stuff works extremely well.

Try goo gone or I always keep a can of 3M adhesive remover around. That stuff works extremely well.

I second the 3M adhesive remover - sells at many auto parts stores and works great. However, if you put a hair dryer on it and keep it on the leading edge as you remove them very slowly, you should not have any residue. I have found (last weekend on my 2021) that it is only when you get impatient that residue is left on to remove (hence my recent experience with 3M - from another thread on this site).
