Hello, it’s a phone holder. Supposed to slide in the storage area right under your climate controls. Should slide right in the middle of it on the side closest to you.

Can confirm, it’s a phone holder. It affixes somehow to the storage bin under the climate controls.

Below the entertainment center there is a cabinet that you push open. See picture attached. That item your holding up is a cell phone holder it slips into the front side of the cabinet clips in. Weather you want to hold your cell phone in it or not is up to you.

Funny thing is my salesman told me it was a business card holder! It might be better used as a business card holder because it fails as a good phone holder.

So I tried putting my iPhone 11 Pro Max in that holder and I truly believe that ISN’T a phone holder. 1/3 of the phone screen is being blocked by the rest of the console and you can’t see anything.

Based on the slit at the bottom of holder I’d say they intended for you to run a charging cord from the USB(s) ports up to your phone. It’s a convenient spot to rest your device while charging without it being deep down in the cubby.

Definitely a phone holder... maybe not a look and drive holder but a phone holder nonetheless.

I tried several times today to get it to stay in place and each time it would fall out. I think this is destined for the deep recesses of my console.

Sounds like a trip to the dealer to fix. New vehicle, why settle for something broken from the start.

idk why Ford wanted to add a phone holder last minute. It sucks

Its not meant for you to be able to see your screen. Manufacturers don't want people doing that. It merely a holder to keep your phone in place.

It gets in the way when I try to lay my phone on the charging mat. It’s probably user error on my part - definitely not worth a dealer trip.
