Changing My Order

If I want to change my order will doing that restart the whole ordering timeframe or does it just get changed and still get produced as it was? I don't have a VIN yet and I'm having second thoughts about the factory tonneau cover but I don't want to start over, it's taking too long already. Thanks

I think if you don't have a VIN Ford hasn't "accepted" your order so it likely won't change anything.

As long as the order hasn't been picked up in Ford's production que then you should be ok to change. I changed to spray in liner and B&O system after my initial order before I got VIN (Generally means its be picked up in que)

My order was placed on Dec 23 2020 and I was able to add the moonroof on February 14 2021 and 20" black wheel on February 20th. Truck had a blend date of 03/05/2021.

That's a dealer installed option, right? So those of us with our trucks in transit can partake of this new option as well, right?

I think the in transit will have a rattle can in the console.

I got mine before the option was brought out but I had left over from my Ram.

Thanks for the input. I called my dealer and they cancelled the tonneau and wheel well liners. It seems there are better choices for both in the after market and they slow down the delivery anyway. I ordered the truck Feb 15 and now it's Mar 15 and no signs of life.
