I just ordered this one Clore 1002, It is a 1.5 amp battery maintainer. When hooking these up do you hook the ground to the battery ground or do you use a chassis ground. I ask this because of the battery management system.

I use a schumacher and it charges at around 13V before going into maintance mode.
