Apple car play not connecting consistently since OTA update?

About 5 minutes into my drive the phone will disconnect and reconnect from CarPlay. Then it’s usually fine after that. Super annoying if I’m on a call though

Same for you Max....get the APIM checked. Took about an hour for them to test mine. Probably about an hour to replace as well. If you do it make sure to ask if they updated the software on the APIM after replacing it. They forgot on mine and I had to go back. Frustrating.
