yea its everywhere. Its the metal they switched to in the 22 models I believe.

That's what I read too. Apparently the metal used in the valves became brittle when exposed to the heat from combustion in the cylinders and started cracking.

I thought i read that it includes pretty much all ´21 and up models ! My Edge ST will be in the bunch if they ever do a recall. I’ll stay tuned !

Apparently they changed the material in the valves in Oct of 2021, so late 2022 and 2023 model years are not affected.

Back in October 2021, the manufacturing process for these intake valves was changed, and newer versions of that part are made from “Silichrome 1,” which is less susceptible to this problem. Ford notes that the defective valves tend to fail early in the life of the engine – typically within just a few hundred or thousands of miles – and also informed the NHTSA that most of the resulting engine failures have already occurred.

I saw the mention of the supplier changing in oct21, but does that actually mean all job2 22s are safe? Mine was built 6/22
