Chatting with Ford today they gave me an estimated delivery date of March 8th-14th. Current tracker still shows "in production" but those are the dates they gave me. Theoretically that means I could have this new truck by the weekend? I'm not holding my breath but there is some hope
I’m in the same boat that my truck still shows in production and I also spoke with my dealer yesterday and heard that my truck will supposedly release by tomorrow, March 6th. So, that also means I could potentially have my truck by the weekend since I live 20 miles from the factory where it’s being built. But definitely not holding my breath.

I cant believe the 24s have not been released yet. The Detroit/South east area is littered with assembled 2024 f150 in every vacant lot. Michigan international speedway has about 5000 2024s parked there. My local dealership has over 100 2023s on the lot and they are not budging on price and ford is not helping dealerships move them by adding rebates and incentives. I did see a regular cab 2024 at the local lot.

What are you talking about? Not budging on 2023 prices? Fuck Ford I'm not waiting for my 24 anymore, but the 23 I am getting next week has 9K in rebates.

Pretty sure they had 2.9% @ 72 in Dec and then changed to 1.9% @ 72 in Jan and again for Feb and still have it now. All the 23s in my area also have $5k-$10k off.

With X-plan, 2k PCO and 1k loyalty that puts me about 6-7k off msrp on a 2023. I have not trade in or lease turn in. A new vehicle that is over a year old. Run bluebook values on a 2023 with zero miles and compare it to msrp, you may be suprised. These vehicles have depreciated by just sitting there. I understand the value decreases the moment you drive off the lot but dang. I will likely just get a custom order 24 because it will cheaper then what i can get a 23 for locally. I also believe that the 1.9 for 72 months ended last week. I do think you can get 1.9 for 36 months still.

1.9 for 72 is still going for 23’s

My dealer reached out to me today with a screen shot that showed my truck status is now showing as "sent offsite". We're hopeful that means my delivery window actually is March 8th-14th like I was told.

Ya I'm not getting my hopes up too much. I'm curious, though, have you been given an ETA for delivery to the dealership? Ford chat gave me the March 8th - 14th window yesterday

Dealer just told me he sees my truck on the rail just outside Gainesville, TX. Says it should deliver Monday or Tuesday depending on the truck hauler. The good news is we fly out of town Monday for vacation for a week lol

I called Ford and they said last week of March.. but I would expect my truck to no longer be "In Production" this week.... waiting optimistically.

Chat has told me March 21st to March 27th for about 3 weeks now. Crossing my fingers. The dealer say that he still do not have a solid ETA. BTW on the tracker it still show in Production ( since 02/06/2024) we shall see.

Just received this info from Ford chat:

Thank you for waiting Shawn. I'm showing your vehicle is in production. I also see a secondary status of origin received, updated 1/26/2024. This means your vehicle has been received by a carrier at the origin plant ramp location and is awaiting shipment. Your vehicle has an estimated time of arrival window of 3/12/2024 through 3/18/2024. Please keep in contact with your dealer as they have the most updated information regarding order status.

I was playing around just to see what a 24 version of my truck (21) would cost. Turns out can't get it like mine anymore. No Ext cab for Lariat and above, no 2WD on Lariat and above. I could live with a Crew cab and 6.5 ft bed, it would be a little long but ok. Really don't want 4WD, for the 1 maybe 2 times a year we might get a little snow.

I just saw a Ram commercial for ‘24 model Rams 0% for 72 months or 10% off MSRP. I’m sure you could meet in the middle for price and still get the 0%.

Ford needs to step up. It’s bad enough that the tons of ‘23 F150s are still at 1.9% (most with miles, deletes, and very little off MSRP) but the ‘24s have barely started showing up yet. I want to see incentives for 2024s!
