Mine is a 2021 that sticker was $46,284. I speced out a 2023 with same equipment and same truck now list for $54.628. INSANE. Socal Security doesnt pay that well so I guess this will be my last 1.lolMy first two trucks were regular cabs, and I would love another one. The issue is that the automakers have decreed that "regular cabs are for the poors" and refuse to offer basic convenience packages or upper level engines on them. In terms of "luxury", a regular cab is hot or cold in 3 minutes no matter what is happening outside. With heated/vented seats, phone remote start and a heated wheel, it's very hard to be uncomfortable in one.
Those wheels are the best looking wheels on An F150 IMOLooking at the tracker statistics, it seems that regular cab 2021 orders are in the minority. I will put up a few pictures of my truck with hopes it will make any others feel less lonely. In a world flooded with crew cab trucks, I had to order mine after a long and fruitless search for 2020’s and even 2019’s. The majority had options that made no sense, or dealer add-ons that I wouldn’t have wanted even if they were free, like tinted windows (most of my driving is at night) or bed liner (I do a lot of work with metal and it just gets stuck on or gouges the liners) and I wanted the V-8 4X4 with 3.73 gears and 9.75 axle. The heavy duty payload package was hard to pass up, so I went with the 8’ bed and it still fits in my small driveway without any effort. It doesn’t look quite as long in person and in fact, I panicked for a moment thinking it was a short bed when I saw it from behind parked in the dealer’s back lot.
Unfortunately, Ford decided that several options aren’t available with the regular cab. I really wanted the LED headlights, 4A transfer case and sliding rear window. I would like to at least get the sliding window, then hopefully some information about adding the OEM LEDs will appear and maybe some day, after the warranty expires, I will feel adventurous enough to swap out transfer cases.
Unloaded, the ride is stiff, though comfortable and on the highway it rides super smooth and quiet. The steering is almost too light and doesn’t have much feedback at low speed. The brakes feel good with a nice stiff pedal. I haven’t gotten any opportunity to use four wheel drive but hopefully will next week.
Probably too busy smiling. That truck is gorgeous. Got some get up and go does it?2022 XL High 4x4

Gotta get some videos of it at the track! That coyote + blower has to sound greatThank you.
yeah man. it rips! i have only launched it in 4H twice so far. speeds get too high too fast for most locations around here. I need to get to a track when the weather cools off.
Looks badass!Ford may not make them with all the options but I’ve been busy building my RCSB the way I want it.

As a "Fully Loaded" F150 RCSB owner I can tell you from experience that YOU are a FKING genius!I really think the 2024 XL short bed is the best bargain in a new F-150 and even with the new restrictions really well equipped. Gone are roll up windows lolol! Since cost IS a factor on my budget I can basically make it mine and serve me well for less than $8,000.00. The mods I plan are typically done on many new trucks. Tires and wheels, paint to match bumpers grill mirrors and handles, hard one piece tonnou cover and maybe a 3-5 drop. I'm getting a 2 wheel drive simply because I don't need a 4×4 so I save the $5,000.00 Ford wants for that. With Granger's KILLER 4% back of invoice and low out the door price the cost for a brand new 'Sport Truck' will be cheeper than many regular cars or trucks by far.
When I went to my Credit union 100% financing was no problem and less than most new vehicles. The real key is you get the 5.0 12" dash and screen 3.73 locker hitch cruise tilt power windows (both one touch up), locks mirrors all standard..It is the most well equipped XL 'base' single cab ever made by far. All the really important 'options' are now standard on a real base XL..Who needs chrome lolol!
