Anyone driven each back to back on the 21s? Which rides nicer?

Not a reliability or mpg thread just asking driving impressions of each.

Thanks

I ordered a 3.5L back in Feb. I thought I had a change of heart so I ordered a 5.0L in June... My salseman/buddy called me about a week ago and said he has both those engines in 2021s on the lot right now and asked if I wanted to try them out. I drove the 3.5L first, then the 5.0L then the 3.5L again... (I drove to the dealership in my 2019 2.7L) I haven't owned trucks all my life so wasn't hardcore V8 only or anything type of guy and I love my 2.7L as its extremely fun to drive... Well the fun factor on the 2021 3.5L has gone through the roof! I had the biggest grin on my face both times I drove it. When I drove the 5.0L I just couldn't wait to drive the 3.5L again (hence taking it out a second time). I didn't really notice a difference in engine sounds. Both seemed quiet. But it solidified my decision to get the 3.5L for sure. (Still waiting, should be here soonish). I'll tell you though, I went back and forth between the two so many times... Driving them made me 100% confident in my decision... I would highly suggest you do the same if you can as everybody likes different things. I found the 3.5L to be the most fun I have ever had driving any vehicle I have ever driven. I'm going to get a lot of speeding tickets I'm sure... It's got a lot of torque and you can REALLY feel it... Hope this helps in anyway...

Having driven European and Japanese cars most of my life, the 3.5 EcoBoost feels more natural to me. I think the V8 will feel more natural if you've owned lots of trucks in the past.

They both drive extremely well, I don't think you could go wrong with either.

3.5 > 5.0 but I’m biased lol.

I just traded in my 2021 3.5 for a 2023 5.0 and I’m loving the 5.0. So much power!
