My chip hold has been extended another 2 weeks to May 14 according to chat. "In Production" since 4/1.

I went and chatted again after reading this. Currently still holding, but we will see what tomorrow brings

Did not click on the website to see what the poster was referring to, but if these lightnings do enter the shipping phase, I doubt they will be stuck at a ramp waiting on a rail car. These EV trucks are going to take priority over everything.

People have had ICE trucks in production for 3, 4 months or "built" for months but waiting on parts. How will Ford explain this to all of us? Especially if we're all waiting for months while those trucks get all the chips/parts and get shipped over ours. My guess is they won't.

My blend was 3/25 so I keep
Up with the build week before and after mine to see how things are going. My come off chip hold date was supposed to be today and I was told earlier it was moved to 5/14-5/20

I sent my dealership an email in hopes of getting some type of insight. They replied and said it’s on chip hold, but cut and pasted a cell from a flat file in my email. Do the May dates mean anything??

I sent my dealership an email in hopes of getting some type of insight. They replied and said it’s on chip hold, but cut and pasted a cell from a flat file in my email. Do the May dates mean anything??

Dealer shared this with me earlier when I asked him the meaning of the end date. He seems to think that’s when it’s expected to be delivered to him. Annnd around around we go lmao

The Marketing line today told me that the 5/14-5/20 date was the delivery date. I said that the chat says those are dates to come out of production. She said no it is without a doubt the estimated delivery date but that it could change based on chip holds.
I emailed my dealer today when they gave me the new dates but I think he’s off on Tuesday’s so I’ll probably hear from him tomorrow sometime
