So the King Ranch standard wheels are a limited item. If the other wheel option for $1400 wasn’t ugly I would possibly change wheels to increase the chances of getting mine scheduled.

This is the second week in a row that KR are constrained because of the wheels. I guess when Farley thought it was the best idea in the world to use the same wheels across 4 trim levels, he didn't bother to order more of them.

I'm probably not even going to keep these stupid PVD wheels. I was looking to source some machined KR wheels from 21-23 to put on the truck. Thus, being delayed for something I won't even keep as the reason for moving my potential build date into July for my October order is just the cherry on top.

Fingers crossed you get scheduled this week. The other unfortunate part is that the F150 plants shut down the first two weeks of July for maintenance so the next scheduled build dates after this week will be for the week of 7/15. Not trying to put salt in the wound but just wanted to make you aware so you aren’t caught off guard that they won’t be scheduling the next two weeks ( unless they immediately start scheduling for the week of 7/15)

Probably better to have a fresh crew and equipment build it after a two week shutdown.

My build date of 6/17 was pushed back to 7/15. At least I had one week of thinking I might get my truck this summer.

At this point, I'm inclined to just wait to order a 2025. I would imagine that order guide is going to be released in the next 3-4 months. I hope Ford doesn't make the same mistake of being so late to delivery 2024 MYs.

Yeah my guess would be the order banks for 2025s will open in September but who knows....what a cluster this 2024 release has been.

I'm staying with my 2024 order because I have a feeling that 2025's won't be shipped until end of January at the earliest (and I want a new truck.)

Yeah, and you have to consider the price increase they will levy on the 2025s to pay for this fiasco.

I think inflation is going to outpace the increase of the actual market selling price (not MSRP) of a 2025. There's significant downward pressure on pricing for new pickup trucks in general as every manufacturer's production capacity for pickups (to include Toyota) now exceeds demand.
