On the interior console badging serial number - how does it match (or does it) the VIN#?

Are they two different numbers or is part of the VIN (like last 4 numbers) become the SN for the console badging?

I've received news of my VIN number as well as a status of PRIMARY: "In Production" and SECONDARY : "Sent to Plant"

Anyone have more information on this regarding how long it more or less takes from there until the Truck is at my dealership ?

I’d say 48 days based on what I’ve been told and what I’ve tracked for my San Diego delivery.

Here we are February 15th and I still have no production date. Ordered the truck December 11th and have had a VIN for close to a month. I was told by my dealer I should be taking delivery Mid March. At this point I don't see that happening and am getting incredibly frustrated/anxious.

I placed order back in 8/23 got a vin a month ago, yesterday got my window sticker for a V8 302A XLT. Schedule for build 2/26, it’s been a roller coaster ride for most of us. Hang in there!
