Had to have front bumper repainted, when the body shop put it back on they put it on a little crooked. The passenger side is pushed up and the driver side is hanging down. The guy at the shop wasn't much help and I didnt have time to sit there and screw with it.

It's not terrible, one side needs to go down about a 1/2 and the other needs to go up about 1/2"

I dealt with this once on my 2016 F150, if I recall correctly its as a matter of loosening the main bumper bolts, (having a buddy) pressing up or pressing down on the end of the bumper and then retightening. Is it the same for the 2021?

I believe there are 3 large nuts on the back side of the part of the frame that attaches to the bumper?

Any tricks to make it easier?

Yeah but the trick is it was paid for by someone else, its a long story.

So I would have thought it was an east fix too, but climbing under there you only have access to two of the 3 bumper bolts/nuts. The "inboard" nut its completely hidden.

Sounds like a pita. Let me know if you figure it out. I'm wondering if there's a way to make that gap smaller between the bumper and grill. Pretty ugly inch of black space.

when i put on my front hitch . i had to adjust bumper a scoosh
yes the bolts are tricky but i used a long extension

i refer back to my 16 exp it got hit and my insurance covered it and then went after the other persons insurance as expected
but when i picked up the vehicle it was not LIKE before the hit and i insisted it be correct
took body guy about 15 minutes to correct
they got paid to do it right 1st time IMO.

Definitely out of position
Wondering if it may have been hit or came in contact with something.

not only high on one side, low on the other, but it is not on the right plane either.
It appears to be drooping and the passenger side is not even close to lining up with the fender wheel opening.

that rubber strip on mine is just barely touching the bumper filler with bumper to filler (w/o strip) about 1” gap.

Don’t get it too close as the bumpers move around a lot on rough roads, so clearance is needed

going back and looking again
Is the bumper twisted?

Still want to tweak this thing a little, any suggestions on how to reach the 3rd bolts?

Did you ever figure this out? I’ve also got a bumper that’s not quite square I want to adjust.

Easiest way to access all of the front bumper nuts is to remove your grill, can access all of them from the top of the bumper. I am a collision technician for a Ford dealership and remove at least 2 front bumpers a week.

When I got my truck the rear bumper was not level, I spoke to the dealer and they fixed it with no hassle. I would talk to the shop manager or the dealer general manager to make sure it gets done. my 2 cents worth.

I have to get one of my fog light assemblies replaced under warranty anyway and as I understand it, that’s a bumper off job for the swap. I‘ll see to it that they align it when it goes back on.
