I've had my VIN since 11/12 and palsapp says "VIN NOT FOUND".

Unrelated, but Ford finally emailed me last night and said I was moved to week of 12/20, although I already knew that per my dealer.

Well surprise surprise! Got an e-mail yesterday that I was moved to 12/20 build date! Funny thing is I never had a build date.

I've got an order number and a VIN# but when I click on the Ford tracker I get nothing.

So I actually work for Ford (non-production) and I've been on the floor at Dearborn a few times. Let me tell you if you've never seen it in person its truly a miracle to see these trucks come together and drive off the end of the line! Since this isn't work related I can see why they don't want people wandering around the plant getting in the way or hurt etc. But if I know the build date why can't I go on the Rouge tour and watch my truck being built?

No, not any more than someone who goes on the Rouge Tour. I work on Future vehicles.

My Dealer also finally just responded just now with “your truck is due here the week of 1/10”. No further details provided by either person. Seems like 1/10 is a very wishful thinking date with the holiday downtime but I guess KC isn’t too far from CO so I could potentially see it happen. I do have spray in Bedliner and wheel well covers but based on the estimated dates provided it doesn’t seem the ford computers are estimating any extended delays on those items, but time will tell.

Funny I to have the '22 being built on 12/21 in KC and live in Colorado...wonder which of us will get ours first.

So I've had my VIN for a couple of weeks now and this is new, before it couldn't find any information on my VIN but just today it showed pending and has a billing number.

How have others received information on actual build date?

I received an email 2 weeks ago with VIN and build week, but no communication since.

I had to get my build date from my dealer. Apparently my email is not attached to my order and from info read from these forums indicate no emails get added. Poor timing for us waiting to hear anything with all the trackers down. Dealers seem to be the best source of info for us.

Ford's emails about scheduling are hit or miss from my experience. I received an initial email with my VIN and build week (12/6), but didn't get anything about the first delay (12/13). I did get an email yesterday about the second delay (12/20), though. But... I already knew about that delay and my current build date (12/22) because I had reached out to my dealer last week.

Long story short, just ask your dealer. Just like Ford's tracking system, their emails aren't timely or reliable.

As of yesterday, all my dealer was reporting was a build week of 12/20.

Guess we keep waiting for the trackers!

I just got off the phone with my dealership. They confirmed that my truck is scheduled to be built 12/22/2021 with a priority code 19.

@fritterandwaste - which plant are you at -KC or Dearborn?

I saw in the 12/13 thread where some people were adding their truck to the Ford Pass App. Decided to punch in my vin and it found my vehicle, I guess that’s a good sign ??‍

I was able to add truck over a month ago. Adding in ford pass does not indicate anything in my opinion.
