2 things added after initial order were done once I realized I left it off the build. If it makes it on the truck great, if not can do after I get it.

Just found out spray in bed liner that was sposed to delay build has been influded, along with priv glass/defroster… waiting to see if hitch can be added without delaying build date

Got an email today (11/12) directly from Ford telling me I have been scheduled for build week of 12/20. Also given a VIN.

2022 XLT, SCREW, shortbed, carbonized grey, Sport package, Fx4 package. 302A. (Wanted to add BLack package to get leather but was told likely a Q3/summer availability date if I included so opted not to include)

I do have spray in bed liner and wheel well covers so we’ll see if those are still causing extra delays to delivery date. Based on the 2021 VIN decoder looks like a Kansas City plant build.

Originally ordered MY2021 on 9/6/2021. Order resubmitted as 2022 on 10/29.

I take it Friday is a big day for VIN's. Received mine today as well, along with a 12/20 Dearborn build week.

I got my email yesterday too, 3days after salesman gave me the VIN and build date. Yesterday he said spray in liner didn’t delay it and since it’s Race Red it’s a Kansas build

Interesting. When I first ordered from dealer on 9/25/21, he said the spray-in liner would delay things, and recommended that it be done at the dealer for a slightly reduced cost, so I removed it from the order. The best part is I negotiated the entire deal to include the spray-in liner for Free!

ive always said lemon vehicles are started on a afternoon before a 3 day or more party weekend and finished first day back…. This might be that week, factory closes early on Thurs cause they get Friday off for Christmas Eve, then Monday off for Christmas. Not sure if that how it works but my last job did it that way)

I'll take the more optimistic approach and say that the production line workers will be in such a great mood before the break that they'll all do an extra fine job to make sure our builds are perfect! ?

I ordered a 21 Lariat back in September that was pushed into the 22 MY in October... Current estimated build as of last week is 12/20. Hoping it actually gets built on this schedule.
