Any other Regular Cab trucks out there?

I'm just lucky I guess lolol! Bob I looked for a loaded 2023 XLT but when I really compared the 2023 to the 2024 the new 12" dash and screen was the deal maker/breaker. And for me it was a single cab period. All the 2023's had to have multiple options to equal what a 2024 has standard. 5.0 was the FIRST filter I used then short bed. Those 2 things eliminated 90% of available trucks. Most were white long bed of the remaining ones. You can get a GMC regular cab still but when you build and price one it's more expensive and less truck in the end. More importantly NO 5.0 lolol!

I was unfortunate enough to be "ready" (financially) to purchase my truck in the midst of the Covid scam.

Ford Dealerships were Ghost Towns!

GMC (my 1st choice) wouldn't even talk too me about a RCSB V8 4x4.

RAM? ...no thanks!

12" Screens (at the time) were reporting tons of issues and even though I wanted one, I didn't "want one".

Ford was offering to "evenually" build me (after 9-months) a RCSB Fully Loaded "XLT" at ZERO%.

...what choice did I have?

NO REGRETS! I LOVE my 2021 F150 5.0 4x4. "Warts" and all!

I custom ordered mine and is nearly as fully loaded as you could get. Feel free to shoot any questions my way.

I have my 24 RCSB on order but I’m going to say they missed the boat on some items that I wish were options that I would have bought.

#1 carpet (not everyone wants rubber floors)
#2 power seat (option on 24 fleet trucks)
#3 remote start (no everyone wants the app)
#4 heated seats/steering wheel (we all don’t live in the south)
#5 360° camera (be nice on that 12” screen)
#6 bed lights
#7 fog lights (without having to get chrome bumpers)
#8 Sport Package (most guys want color matched bumpers)
#9 Black appearance package (because it looks good)
#10 auto climate control
#11 LED tail lights standard (all the other lights are LED….)

I absolutely would order the 360° camera and the fog lights if available. Most folks with carpet put a rubber or hard plastic mat over it anyway. I'm considering adding sound insulation and carpet just to make the cab quiet and comfortable especially in Florida heat.

I've found since I decided to get a regular/single cab F-150 I see very few newer ones BUT many older ones. Most of the newer are 4×4 and the older 2 wheel drive. I really like the look of the Shelby and other 'Sport Truck' Limited Editions but the cost is extreme in my eyes..

Finally made a quick video on the leather seats. Process was pretty easy, 4hr out the door at the install shop and not too expensive, having only one row has its benefits!

Finally made a quick video on the leather seats. Process was pretty easy, 4hr out the door at the install shop and not too expensive, having only one row has its benefits!

I bought a “truck”.

Just ask my wife! It isn’t an SUV. (She has her Honda Pilot)

My “truck” has scratches and a few minor dents (dings) from tree branches, grease stains on the seats from lubing my tractor, coffee stains from Peet’s Coffee cups which ALWAYS leak, dog hair from my Rotty and on & on.

Don’t get me wrong… I deeply appreciate you taking the time to post this video and NOW I know (thanks to you) what to do if I ever decide to part ways with my F150 RCSB 4x4.

But my (in the processed of being) trashed “cloth seats” make “my” Regular Cab feel like home.

I guess I’m just sick that way.
