Snakebitten, that's a Softopper brand bimini, borrowed from my longbed Chevy. It's probably ten years old and still going strong. We camp twenty or so times a year so it's seen some weather.
It doesn't exactly fit the shorter bed (can't snap the sides down onto the canopy bedrails which I don't use anyways).
If inclement weather is inbound I throw a waterproof tarp over it as a rainfly. They aren't a very weatherproof canopy even if used as designed, but the rainfly makes it comfy and dry.

as much as this thing sucks in parking garages and turning radius, we do enjoy the extra space of the 6.5 bed and the proportions with the super crew cab.

You really aren't allowed to post an HDPP F150 without posting a picture of the Yellow sticker ? so we can all say What The Heck?

Man would I love to have that truck with the Hybrid Ecoboost.

haha! Yeah it’s a nice truck, has the “normal” 3.5L. Having the Powerboost with this config would be awesome! I ordered (but had to abandon) a truck and thought about the Powerboost with the 7.2kw generator, but felt I needed the extra hauling capacity instead. This truck has the 2kw generator on it, and although it won’t run my AC or microwave, I can run all the lights and slide on my camper. It’ll run my home refrigerator and deep freezer…lol!

I think you bought wisely, especially for your priorities.
But............ You Dodged the Payload question!
Did you break the 2500lb barrier? You gotta be close!

2500lbs means you can drop ONE THOUSAND POUNDS on that hitch and STILL have more Payload left than us ordinary folks START with. HDPP is an awesome option.

Digging the paint schemes, what is that blue/grey color ^^^ called? Space white is rad too.
Really like the 6.5 bed, thought it might be too short but it's working out great, all of our camping junk fits under the tonneau easily.

Thank you! I did avoid the question…..2,387 pounds….according to the yellow sticker…lol! But, Ford’s information guide states 2,640 pounds….?

That tells me that you or whoever ordered that truck painstakingly chose just about EVERY option you could get in an XLT.
I say painstaking because Ford won't let you choose some of the ordinary "packages" like 302A, so you have to a-la-cart a bunch of stuff to get it comparably equipped.

Somewhere you have about 150lbs of goodies beyond just 4WD.
I'm guessing it's a really nice truck for the family to play in. :)
