hey guys i’m trying to fit 35x12.5 AT’s on my 2021 XLT. I wanted to run method 17x8.5 +25 offset wheels and a 2.5 inch ready lift spacer. Does anyone know if this setup will work or if there is any running? Please let me know

@Discount Tire if I were to get 315/70R17 and a 2.5” spacer, could I get like a 0 offset wheel? or what’s lowest offset you would go?

@Discount Tire Got it thanks.

Also is there like no way that 35x12.5 would fit with +25 offset wheels? I could potentially get a really good deal on some Mickey Thompson A/T 35x12.5 tires and wanted to see if I could make it work.

@pdngyn be prepared to do some mods. The extent of which you are willing to go can make it work. The good news is that if you purchase from DTC they are wiling to test fit to make sure it will work.

@Discount Tire cool. I only have americas tires near me since I’m in socal. but I think it’s the same as discount tire. You know if they would take the tires back if I bought them but it didn’t fit?

You're absolutely correct, America's Tire falls under the Discount Tire umbrella. They would be happy to assist with a test fitment as well and can take the tires back if they don't fit properly.

Videos don't help a yes or no.

Does it fit? Not without trimming and not with factory offset. 12.5s aren't warranted, 11.5s are a better fit. Not perfect but manageable. Factory offset with 12.5s will rub numerous places, most dangerously on the upper A arm.

Looks like 35x12.5 can work if you trim the valance and some of the plastic. But 315/70r17 will work forsure with a 2.5in spacer right? May need some minor trimming but should work?

They're prone to rubbing the upper A arm -- you can't cut or trim that. Need a new wheel that pushes the tire more outside. Better off just going 11.5s on stock or buy new wheels.
