What happens to the nearly brand new wheels??

For the folks that almost immediately get a bigger/nicer set of aftermarket wheels swapped onto their brand new trucks, what happens to the barely used set that came with th truck?

I love a lot of the aftermarket wheels I see on new trucks but there’s no way in the world I would ever be able to convince my wife into letting me spend several thousand dollars on wheels after just buying a brand new truck with a perfectly good set.

I’ve always wondered if these guys just stored them or sold them or were perhaps too rich to be bothered with them.

Most people sell them on Craigslist or similar marketplace for about 50-75% of their cost to make back some of the money they spent on the new wheels/tires.

My last ones went back on my 2017 before trade in.... debating on stock or those aftermarket going onto my 21 when I get better tires
