What does this button do - under the back seat in front of 400W inverter

I have the under seat storage, but I actually think this back wall may be on all trucks. What is this button for, circled in red? It says "Push". It looks mechanical like it releases something that might have been attached there.

iirc it's to fold up the under-seat storage.

It is the release for the support\divider of your storage area. (Like what @DT444T said.
If you look at the front of your 'box', (inside) you will see a hinged support\divider that swings into that spot. I will take a pic and upload in a few.

A couple people beat me to it. I'll answer my own question after seeing the storage demonstrated in a video. There is a divider in the under seat storage box. Opposite from this button, inside the front wall of the storage unit, there is a divider that pops out and over to this button. I never knew this divider was there.

Unfortunately, I already pushed the button. The anticipation was killing me.

But let's be honest who RTM?
I built our backyard propane fire table without opening the manual (partially in the dark) and put every leg in the wrong spot and had to undo them and redo...

I just laffed

I did the same thing - 'WTF IS THIS?"

Then after looking at it bit longer I figured out what is was for.

Next on the list, is using some hot glue to tack the rubber pad down so it doesn't move around and interfere with closing the box.
