Trusting the owners manual is a bad idea?

Just changed my spark plugs for for my build 2 2021 Powerboost. The owners manual provides only a part number for a tapered seat spark plug used on earlier 2021 trucks, but my 2021 truck was built using a gasket seat spark plug with different motorcraft part number. Trying to order motorcraft parts with correct part numbers like windshield wipers using the current owners manual is also impossible.

What have you found wrong in the owners manual?

Digital manual in truck is supposed to update occasionally. I don't think there is any indication when it is updated. They also update the PDF files on Ford website.

Use Ford Parts website to look up parts like spark plugs that have changed multiple times over the years of Ecoboost motors.
