Just picked it up from paint
Impressive new look imo
Now if yellow pollen stops.

i get to wire it up now, thanks to a few here on the site guided me were the right wires are under the hood

i have a tool box in the bed at the tailgate that is 10 tall and spans the width of the bed along with depth is to the wheel humps so i will build a flat floor at that height with access to store junk , sort of a mini DECKED system, sans the pull out drawers to fill in the space in front of the tool box to the cab

They have done 2 other vehicles for me
And warranty the work as long as you own the vehicle.

Buy once, cry once. I'd rather pay for good work one time. That highway products box ain't cheap either they make great stuff.

Yep I have had that box and itsb8gger front bed box since 2006. They have moved through a few trucks.
The big one now is on my car trailer..you could stack 3 people in it
The way the locks are built..you have to cut a hole in box to open it. If you punch the lock out.

My buddy has one of their headache racks the thing is nearly 15 years old and it looks brand new. You have good taste

Yes they make stuff to last.
Side note we lived on top of a mountain in north Bama at the end of a winding dirt, clay road. Just wide enough to get the 40 foot fith wheel up to the campground.. well barley wide enough.
I was at work and red ball freight were delivering the big bed box, it fills space from cab to fender wheel in long bed super duty. And the little one.
The driver had to truck them in a 2 wheeler about 1/2 mile twice to get both up to my site. That driver earned his pay that day.

Got the filler box, built and put in today
A side note
I built it to fit with 32nd of inch tolerance between wheel humps
Guess what ..? Truck bed is not square to within 32nd of inch. It's more closely to 1/4 inch.
Even front bed to bed sides is off square by 1/4 inch
So I had some field adjustments to make during install
Still need to paint alum box black
To blend in
At least top of it
Bed box is same height do its level across.
The c clsmps are temp. Until I get 2 new clamps in. The topper likes to bow out about 3/16 in middle.
Plus new gaskets.
Still have to finish up wires.
The top has a hatch and is also screwed down do if I need to get in to change things it's an easy 8 screw un do..lift it out

This looks great! Just as a quick note (and this may vary state-to-state), insurance glass coverage will cover your topper glass if it is “permanently affixed” to your vehicle, aka nuts and bolts, vs. using clamps to hold it on. Might be worth looking into at the very least to see if that’s applicable to your situation.

did the wiring today
YIPPPEEEE
now i have a dedicated 12v 10 amp source in addition to the
120 panel
the stop light center top on topper is working
funny thing is the feed line provided by ford to power the cmhsl thing on the topper is DEAD unless truck is the ACC mode or engine is running
took me minute to figure that one out
all good now

Painted the top of the h8ghway box. Now it's dark inside when you look through a window. Still waiting in clamps to replace the clamps
