Ever since I saw how much heavier the powerboost was on paper, I had the urge to throw mine on a scale. Wow!! This thing is in super duty range! Disclaimer: this is with roughly 700 pounds of payload (myself and a bunch of tools in the bed), but even then, we're talking nearly 6,000 pounds empty. Not to mention, I'm getting a bit over 22 mpg still! Has anybody else weighed their trucks?

Wow, I had no idea they are this heavy.

Mine has the power boards, 20" wheels, panoramic roof, max tow and the KR seats are a little heavier and I carry several items/tools also.

I really can't tell any weight difference from my 2018 Eco but did notice it has more power, quieter and some smoother.

I also get similar MPGs as yours, I need to weigh mine also. I thought I remember reading on paper they were around 5600.

Thanks for sharing!

Is it not as simple as:

GVWR - payload = curb weight ?

example: 7350 - 1564 = 5786

Pretty much, though fuel needs to be accounted for and some manufacturers, especially for motorcycles, also sometimes don’t include coolant, lubricants or the battery in their dry weight.

Naturally, dealer add-ons or customer installed accessories will all eat into the true payload.

I think that the GAWR for the Powerboost front and rear is 3900/4150lbs respectively.
