It has begun. The ofc copper power wire is way overkill by the way. It was 110 dollars and the amplifier was only 150.

https://amzn.to/3JcuMBD Here is a link to my amp. 1ts 152 dollars right now. Need to hurry before the sale ends. Its dyno on the amp dyno at 1600 watts RMS burst. It does 1200 and my gain is only set to 1/3 of the gain. Its a beast and more than enough for 2 12's.

Getting 1 gauge through the firewall was brutal. Skar 1 gauge ofc kit is thick.

Then came the amp rack. Integrating Sounds Good Stereo adapters and Kicker Keyloc setup.

SKAR vD 12 in a ported box. Clean and head turning sound. Their shipping was fast and the packaging was awesome. The quality is on par or better than kicker for half the price.

If anyone is interested in my subwoofers and having sound that literally makes your eyes water. This is the one I used. You get an additional 3 db from a ported enclosure. The Skar L-VD-VS-2X12FORD-2015-UP-SUPERCREWCAB-V Is just plain unreal for the money, for the quality, and for the all around car audio geek.

I hear that. I have 3 vehicles all with Skar in them. This is the most powerful of them. It will remove the air in your chest.

Hell yeah. I'm trying to figure out what amp config I want to swap to. Need an 8 channel with DSP and a dedicated sub amp for my 2 behind the seat 10TW3s. Can't give up my closets floor space with an underseat box

SGS makes good stuff. I have their harness hooked up to a kicker CX1200.1 and a CX360.4
The 1200 is pushing 2 Skar vd-10's in their ported box and the 360 is pushing kicker KS series in the the doors. All wiring and accessories are from KnuKonceptz.

I wanted to go all kicker but the really didn't hit that sweet spot for me. Skar, regardless of the price had two 12s and was ported. The other thing is the vd subs are a hybrid shallow full power driver. These things are monsters for a shallow mount speaker. Skar is the only one that did this for me. This isn't a sound quality build but I know what sounds good and don't need the extra expense. I just want to enjoy my music. With @SoundsGoodStereo providing a clean signal. They made this skar system top tier. It's very good, if I had the cash it would ne Morel for me. But this stuff is just plain heart pounding, reminds me of bumping 12s on the way to high school 25 years ago. This skar system pushes pressure on your eyeballs in your head.
