So I pulled the trigger and got the accessory directly from Ford. Letters cut out from metal in the color gunmetal gray I think. They came in today and I installed them, $130 altogether. Here are the results for anyone who is interested in getting these. These are the most high quality ones I’ve used so far.

Really nice and simple mod. I’ll likely do the same right away on my plat once i get it. I feel like it should come this way from the factory, looks much better.
