What do we think? I think we are either looking at a hybrid 5.0 V8 with 650+ HP or a new generation Voodoo with an improved crank (S650 GT350). I’d like to see it be another naturally aspirated monster rather than blown, I think they should save the blown GT-500 for 2025-2026 when the Zora comes out from GM. The Zora is a supercharged 1000 HP V8 hybrid that will be the range topping Corvette. GT-500 could be a 5.2L Predator at 820 HP like the GTD coupled with front electric drive adding 200 HP for a nice clean 1020 HP of electrified V8 power. Also would launch like a bat out of hell.

First year of a new body style is generally the NA version, with forced induction to follow. It'll be interesting to see how they elevate their game from the latest Mach I which was (is) no slouch.

What I'm really curious about is whether they will bring convertibles back to the Shelby line...
