I haven’t really seen anything posted about this but I have heard Ford making comments about being able to order directly from the manufacturer and bypass the dealer. Today was the first time I had seen an ad about it on Facebook. Not in the market to order another truck yet but found it interesting if Ford is trying to bypass dealers and allow customer to order direct.

I don't know if it's legit, but I wouldn't be surprised, given the success that Tesla has had with this model.

I find it funny that they're saying that "times have changed" but naming the program after a 1-800 number, a technology from last century. So yeah...that pretty much confirms that it's a legit Ford advertisement. ;)

This seems to be https://www.brightonford.com/

If you look at the bottom of the 1800newford.com you can find "8240 Grand River Ave., Brighton, MI 48114 | Sales: 810-893-7771". The google maps address pointed to Brighton Ford, and the address/phone number match.

Close to the bottom of the https://www.brightonford.com/ page you can see "We look forward to hearing from you! Call us with any questions at 1-800-NEW-FORD."

Its just a Ford dealer advertising, many have gone this route since covid started, order online and we do the rest. Ford cant get rid of dealers as its part of the franchise agreement and dealers will be spending millions to become EV dealers.
