Installed the Builtright bracket/strap today and it works great. The latch however is clearly not designed for civilian use. I have to try to shatter the back window to get it to close. After examining the latch mechanism awhile I eventually took it off to see if I could get it to latch off of the seat. I had to press it very hard due to the design. The rubber at the base of the latch has to be completely compressed to actuate it, thus having to slam the hell out of it.

I installed one of these today and can say that while it makes it easy to flip down the seat, it is a challenge to latch back. Even not using the new latch strap, it still takes some work to line up the sliding rod on the back wall and a few attempts. Still easier than trying to fish a wrench to release it. I'd recommend this mod.

Heads up for anyone with an XL or STX trying to do this...
Apparently on higher trims, the driver's rear seat is supposed to ride up when you pull up the seat bottom, in a dual-action motion... XL or STX trims do not. I installed one of these seat releases and there is a black molded piece of rubber for sound dampening in the middle of the latch, but this piece prevents you from latching again with the kit. I had to heat up/chop away at some of the material in order to get the latch to FULLY catch the rod on the back of the cab. But be warned, in colder climates where that little rubber piece gets hard, it can rattle around when driving. I'm in the middle of the process of wrapping teflon tape on the rod and greasing joints and contact points to help alleviate the rattle.
