FordPass app not working

I got my new 2023 XLT PB for less than a month, the app works fine until 1/19, it won’t update my truck information. I delete the truck from the app and add it again. After I re-add the truck and try to activate, it won’t work. Any help would greatly appreciated! Thank you!

It's been reported that some 2023 trucks are having issues with their TCU module. (located behind the rear passenger seat)

Fellas who have unplugged it overnight and plugged it back in have found success with it returning to functioning and the FordPass App working again.

My 21 had a simpler problem. At that time I think it was an update that the dealer didn’t install before delivery.

Fold down the back passenger side seat back. It’s on the wall directly behind the upholstery. I pulled the backing down, there’s one peg holding it in position there. You’ll want to unplug the circled plug. It’s closest to the rear passenger door.

Silly question. How do fold the seat back? I can lift the cushion up.

There’s a pull tab on the door side of the seat back. About 3-4” down. Just like the pull tab to lift the seat cushion.

Thanks! My brain was thinking driver side, even though I was reading passenger side.

Anyhow, I pulled the felt insulation down to expose the TCU. I found the cable. I did not have the best lighting, but couldn't find the peg holding the cable in place.

Going to try later with better lighting and once it cools down. Any tips on where the peg is holding the cable into place?

It’s the biggest connector closest to the door. You don’t need to unplug the other two. It was a bit stiff to disconnect the first time I did it.
