do our F150 really need mud flaps? if so, do all four wheels or just the rear?
Whats special about the F150 that mudflaps wouldnt be needed vs other vehicles?

All trucks should have them on the rear at least. Helps with not throwing rocks at vehicles behind you. I have them in front as well to keep mud/snow/slush/salt off the side of my truck.

I wouldn't get anything other than Gatorbacks. Thick and cover a nice area. And they have a lifetime warranty. I backed into a snowbank last winter and ripped one. Called the dealer and had a new replacement in an hour. no charge.

with the gators you don’t have to get the metal decals … that saves some $$

I had a set of Rekgen mudflaps on my 2021. I thought they were great until I spent the money on the Gatorbacks for my new truck. Much better design and absolutely awesome hardware. I did cringe a bit when pulling the trigger but hey, can't take the $$ with you when your numbers' up...

True but they're still double the price.

Also true, but that doesn't mean there aren't other projects that take priority. If they were 2-250 I'd have an easier time swallowing the bill.
