You must be booing better sound from the Unleashed system as well then? Since those two items go hand in hand to make the most out of the Unleashed system.
I do wish wired wasn't required though...
305 width on an F150 without spacers or new wheels is a no go though. That's why most stick with the 275 or 285.
I'm tempted by the pirellis (seems to review a little better) but I have to imagine they are just gouging Rivian buyers with their prices at $460+ per tire.... "Elect tuned" my ass.
OOOOoooo. Didn't realize the ridge grappler had been released in an SL. Hopefully more tire brands start following suit soon.
For some reason the ridge grappler is listed as a hybrid terrain but the recon is AT. But then on Nittos website the Ridge scores higher offroad. I swear tire...
Should be a 34"...
OP many people run a 34" tire. Some would consider losing a bit of engine efficiency to be negative issue. The Nitto Recon has a lot of good reviews as it is a 275/65R20 SL rated tire to maintain the stock ride and keep the tire as close to stock as possible.
10-15% of the weight of the trailer is the rule of thumb. So at least, bare minimum, 750 lbs. Likely more though since it is loaded up to "live" in.
The tongue weight estimate by TT manufacturers seems to come in low. Better off estimating 13-15% which brings you to 975-1125... WDH territory...
Had a similar question but a much greater distance (https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/towing-a-tt-one-time.16664/). The opinion is to get a WDH since the tongue weight is limited to 500 lbs when using a weight bearing vs weight distributing ball mount.
This sticker should be on your hitch...
Ford has been blasting out PU updates it seems recently. I get a new x.x.x update about once a month but have gotten 3 PU updates over the past week or so.
Just means I get to reset "MyView" and the turbo gauge a couple times a week.
Are these the tow hook covers? https://hookproductsusa.com/product/ford-truck-tow-hook-covers/ How do they look up close? obvious its a cover or not really?
Front standard rokblokz and rear the XL variant. Hoping to keep crap off the utility trailer and protect the truck a bit.
Theyre pushed all the way to the inside so a little road grime still gets on the side of the truck but that may not be from the tires and just typical spray
If that is the same as the HF-6580 from Leer it is what I have as well. It works well at keeping the water out. Not waterproof but with the amount of water I've seen come in, I wouldnt have an issue throwing just about anything in the back.
Allowing almost full use of the bed without blocking...
You should be able to line up that long, skinny, plastic behind-the-mudflap bracket to see if you need a hole there. If you do, just drill away. It doesn't have to me marked and aligned perfectly.
I had to drill a hole in my rear husky liners but those weren't a factory option so drilling the...
Those are also labelled as heavy duty tires. Almost like they're for the guys working in not very developed areas. Fracking/oil fields, telecommunications towers, construction sites etc.
