Yep it was the seat bottom bladders that the dealership had no idea if and when availible. I just dont want to end up with half the parts and still cant have MCS.
Also a shout out to Don at Sounds Good Stereo and Nick at Resonix….before I met Jon they were more than gracious with taking my calls and giving much needed advise….even before I bought anything.
I will chime in
My previous truck 2014.. I had a JL Audio passive system. On it….I went thru two installers and finally had to figure out the calibration myself. On this truck I was simi-prepared to do it myself…after interviewing two different installers.
After a lot of research
I started by...
I haul my Kawasaki 650. I use the corner hooks with good tie downs. Ancra is the best brand on the market. I use soft hooks around the triple clamp. I put a cinder block up front to keep the frt from hitting the cab. I have done (6 ) 1200 mile each way trips . Only issues I have ever...
I always ppf my frt bumpers...previous 3 vehicles you could hardly tell they were done. My current truck I took you a new place but very reputable.....bumper looked a lil better than yours...then after a month started to loosen. Went back...and they immediatley said we will redo do it under...
If you use a 1" 28 mm tweeter it will be an exact fit in stock a-pillar. Plus in a two way system a bigger tweter will pay dividends.
JL C2 tweeter= .75 "
JL C3 tweeter= 1.0"
I started on Spotify...used primarily for earbud listening...and BT speaker. Liked the User Interface.
B&O system had me looking for improvements. Tried Amazon, Apple and Tidal. All pretty close sound quality....and better than Spotify. I like the UI on Tidal the best and canned the other...
I replaced my rear speakers after hearing big improvements in the replacing the fronts. I used Audiofrog gs62 coax. No hearable difference.
Next up is behind the seat sub from SGS ,amps and dsp.
Doing in stages so maybe a month or so before completion.
Totaly disagree with that statement. I am doing a fairly high end 3-way active system in stages. Fiirst stage...agressive sound treatments and install Audiofrog GB10(stock pillar location),GB25(stock dash location) and GB60 in the doors. A huge improvement. Although expensive...I did source...
I actualy did this by mistake when I was upgrading all my frt speakers. Much improved...but keep in mind I upgraded all the speakers. Its easy to do....takes maybe 5 minutes. Pry the cover off...(2) 7mm bolts on speaker...unplug and put back together. Woth a try if you dislike the heavy ceneter.
