For those considering wrapping the chrome bits on their Platinum or other trimmed Gen 14 F-150, here’s a process that I used to optimize the use of my vinyl.
Using the website, Cutlist Optimizer, I inputted the dimensions of my vinyl sheet. It was supposed to be 5’x10’ but came out to 60”x117”. I measured each of the chrome parts on my Carbonized Gray Platinum and included excess to account for gripping the vinyl to stretch, etc.
Here is what the optimizer generated from my measurements and also a pic of how I marked the vinyl for cutting. Not shown in the pic of the vinyl are the door handles as they were added after I took the photo.
