Can the door trim panels come apart?

Apart, not just off. Eg, can I put the Platinum "leather" arm rest and upper trim on an XLT's lower (light gray) plastic? Does anyone have any photos of the back side of the door trim?

edit: Answering my own question. No. Doesn't look like it.

It appears that these panels are plastic-welded together after the pleather bits are put on.

I just replaced one on my truck a few months ago. It is all plastic welded into one unit. Way of the future apparently.

I wish it wasn't. I have a plastic cracking vibration sound right where you grab the inner door handle to close or open the driver door. Drives me nuts going down the road. If I press my knee on it with a little force, it'll stop.
