2022 F150 Lariat 502a
Hello all,

long time reader first time poster. I’ve had my 2022 Lariat since February and have been loving it. Came from 2016 and it’s definitely an upgrade. My 2022 is about to get some upgrades! Here’s a list of what I have planned. I’ll post before pictures as well as after.

Fox 2.0 coil over level kit

35x11.5x20 Nitto Recon Grapplers

RTR front skid plate (tremor/raptor style)

RCI transmission & transfer case skid plates.

I’m taking it to my dealer next week to get a recall and service done then it’s game on. if any readers have done any of these upgrades here’s some things I’m curious about.
How much of an impact did 35s make of on your ride and mpg? I know it’s going to take it hit with the extra weight and size I just hope it’s not too bad. Also when changing the rake with level and tires, do the adaptive headlights compensate for that much change or did you have to adjust? I’ve seen mixed reviews on this and if they do need adjusting, do the auto level lights still have manual adjustment screws or do they need to be recalibrated at the dealer?
TIA for any insight. Look forward to sharing the build.

I also have a 2022 Lariat ( Traded my 2020 Raptor / Now having a 2023 Raptor built ) and being concerned with my warranty had Ford install a 2.5 inch leveling kit. Somethings we don't even think about by doing what seems harmless enough is what I learned with this install. They also had to realign the front end, recalibrate the camera in the front logo and readjust the headlights. Something to think about if you haven't yet.

so I was worried about that. I did have an alignment done. We marked the headlights before and after and they lined up. I saw the headlights auto level when I started it after. What did they have to do with the camera?

They used the term recalibrate so I 'm guessing thats pretty much the same as the headlight adjustment. My 2.5 inch level at the front wheel lip became close to 3.5 inches at the front bumper, so you can imagine how much that could throw off the camera angle.

yea mine was 2” strut and 1.5” taller tire so not far off yours. I called ford ahead of time about the headlights cause I didn’t want to blind people but it seems to have solved itself.
