*BARBQUE is the vanity plate on my truck. Yes, I love bbq.
Some of you may recall my unfortunate freeway incident back in July that totaled my much-loved '21 SCrew I had worked so hard to mod. I was going to take possession of the '23 Bronco we had on order, but Ford instituted a price increase between order and delivery date, so I took delivery of a '23 SCrew off the lot at our fave dealership (McRee Ford in Dickinson, TX). She's a 2WD STX package in Avalanche Grey with the 5.0. I really wanted the 4WD but just couldn't justify the extra cost given the 5.9% interest rate, and to be honest I don't really NEED the 4WD. I will eventually mod this truck out in similar fashion to my '21. For now I've made the following mods:
RTR Evo-6 in satin black (20" with +35). There is very little poke on these.
Goodyear Wrangler Trail Runners in 275/60/20
Ford F-150 tray liners
Rough Country bed mat
Tri-fold hard bedcover (Tutel brand from Amazon. Had great success with this on the '21)
Ceramic tint on all windows
Morel Maximo components in front, coax in rear, Powerbass 10" sub enclosure behind back seat running at 2ohms
Kenwood X802 5ch amp, all connected via harness from Plug-n-Play
The Blackvue DX590 that was in the '21 and that so effectively captured the freeway incident
Next mod will be the Fox 2" level kit. I had the RC 2" strut level kit on the '21 and liked it quite a bit, but am looking at the Fox because of the warranty coverage. Later down the road I'll add the Baja Designs fog light kit and AlphaRexx Lux headlights (had both on the '21 and was quite pleased with the output).
Best mod so far was the stereo upgrade. Not quite as good as the Hertz Pro speakers/JL 700.5 combo in the '21, but it was also less than half the cost. And to be honest I prefer the brightness of the Morel components over the Hertz.
Anywho, here is a little eye candy for ya.
