Another Q…is there fake exhaust sound pumped into PB?

I was told on the other forum that our PBs pump fake exhaust into cabin. True? The exhaust does sound weird to my ears at times…but i thought that was because of the hybrid powertrain.

You have to check the option in Forscan. It was turned off on my truck from the factory, but that may not be the case for all.

TBH I know this is corny but id like to have them in my 2.7 when in sport mode. just for the lols when i wanna pretend to be cool.

My feeling is that it is not turned on. Unless they did such a good job I'm fooled into thinking I'm hearing the engine.

It depends on trim level and other factors. Have a look at your asbuilt in Forscan. If you have the B&O speakers everywhere system then I'm 99% sure you do not have fake engine noise. That system is all about good* audio they don't make it worse with fake noise. I suspected my truck had the fake noise but confirmed it doesn't looking at asbuilt data then reading on forums that B&O doesn't have engine noise.



*Many think B&O is garbage but I find it decent when given high quality source.
