Adding fog lights to stx

Hey guys, new to the forum and i have a 2022 stx with the 18 inch wheels (no fog lights) ordered an aftermarket set to install. As i see it if iI remove the active air dam there should be enough room to install fog light assembly, the question is will there be enough room without removing the bumper. Has anyone attempted this install. Any advice would be appreciated .

Did you install; easy or remove bumper?

I just did the install on my STX over the weekend. Keep in mind my hands are bigger so I removed the active airdam, grille and headlights, then loosened all bumper bolts. pulled one side of the bumper out and slide the fog light in. It was a little bit of work to do but love the outcome.

Nice, do those have the DRL's in them?

They do! I made the wiring harness so it looks factory. The DRL's are wired to a fuse under the hood that comes on when the truck is on. The fogs are tapped into the side marker light so they come on when when the parking lights are on. Here are a couple of better pics.

awesome, if you dont mind me asking, where did you get them? I have factory fogs, just like the DRL ones if I can upgrade.

No, it came with the 18in wheels/no fogs. I thought it looked so cheap for an STX. Ford really missed the mark on that, my thought is if you are getting a sport package then it should have fog lights.
