You can find power gains on their site and YT videos showing dyno runs. Honestly, for me, 3K RPM or less, where I normally drive, snappy throttle response is about all I noticed. The improvements are in the higher RPM range. Which even in stock form is where the 5.0 achieves max HP and TQ. I...
I was running Livernois tuning on my 5.0 for a while. As far as the most effective one to buy depends on your feeling about the tuners. Livernois and OZ seem to be favorites, but there are others. I went with Livernois primarily because they were one of the first, if not the first to break the...
I didn't mean to distract from the OP's original post.
By runny I mean very very thin. It even goes in thin nowadays. I think @Dale B said it best. I change every 5K miles figuring it's ~1/2 of the extended oil change theory. I'm sure the EOC followers say it's waisting oil, I just don't...
I keep reading the 5.0 has itsy bitsy tiny little narrow oil passages and how how important “runny” oil is… When I drain mine it resembles water it’s so runny… perhaps that’s the nature of synthetic oils, I’m not sure… I hope that’s good…
Yep. You can buy the kit and have Ford or any ASE certified technician install it. The Ford Performance kit includes the warrantee. The Whipple Stage 1 kit offers the warrantee as an add on.
I have a 2022 F-150 STX BAP. My window sticker simply says Black Sport. My interior plastics are a dark gray (is that slate?). I'm specifically interested in the A pillar windshield trim. When I look up parts for my VIN it says "slate" fits my vehicle. The best that I can tell, there are three...
Interesting…. Thanks, I can understand their purpose but I would think boosted applications need all the air flow they can get. I did check in with Whipple but no response….. I’ve watched my IAT (unsure how accurate it is or where the value comes from) fluctuate quite a bit. The difference...
Well… good thing I asked them to open the boxes, they’re the wrong color. The part number is right for dark slate, but they are black onyx 🙁 So we’re going to try again….
Howdy,
Does the subject actually work?
EBP = Electronic Parking Brake
I searched the usual places, but they fall short of saying YES it works properly. In one case the owner enabled it and couldn’t disable it requiring a tow to Ford.
Appreciate any experiences on the subject.
Thank you.
Impressed Roush makes that information publicly available for one. The second is I haven't heard that before..... the waves must hammer at the catalyst or something....
That TSB is through 2020, do you think that is already a part of your tune or not?
Given it has more holes (625 vs 400) for exhaust to flow it seems like it would be a better alternative, but I'm still stuck... I don't think we know why the OEM CATs fail to begin with. Do they crack due to high temperature cycles with out any drive time after you heat them up. Do they crack...
