I just checked and I can't order what I ordered back in Feb. For my XLT Supercab the 36 gallon tank and 4x4 are now options which force me to switch from a 6.5ft bed to the 8ft. Maybe different with the standard CrewCab. I know I checked back in June and it was about $5K more than when I ordered.
I ordered the exact same thing February 26th. The MSRP on the window sticker is almost a $5k increase, plus now you can't get 0% financing. In all, that's around a $10,000 increase.

Some dealers are adding a "dealer fee" on top of the build price and it aint peanuts.

Local dealers are adding an additional $5,000 to $7,000 on pickup trucks because they can. In terms of factory pricing the manufacturers are paying a lot more for parts and for freight.

An ocean freight container coming from China to the port of Los Angeles now costs more than 4 times the cost in 2020. The railroads have also jacked up their rates by more than 100% because as with ocean freight there are only a few companies and they operate as a monopoly.

As motorists we see the price of gas going up by more than 30% and the profits of ExxonMobile and Chevron and Shell have increased by 300%. Price gouging is not legal but if the U.S. Justice Department does not enforce the laws (most of which are written by lobbyists working for the corporations and wealthy elites) then we have what we see today.

Working people are getting hammered by the privately operated Federal Reserve that is increasing interest rates with the pretense that they are fighting inflation when nothing could be further from the truth. Workers are paying much more for food and for rent and for utilities and for motor fuel and now the fed wants to respond as though demand had increased when only prices have increased.
