I have just given up on it ever being delivered within the original time frame. I see trucks with later blend dates delivered while mine is just sitting in the rail yard to be picked by a truck to dealer

My latest update. Ford chat now saying a May 14th delivery date. Still on chip hold so I am not putting too much weight into that being the actual date. Shipping via convoy to SC.

Your delivery date is very suspect. As info, I'm build week 3/14. Truck left Michigan via CSX on 4/17, landed in Columbia area 6 days later. Now, another 6 days have passed and it's still at the rail yard. Dealer tells me that they have 20 cars at that yard waiting on transport to Wilmington NC.

I'm thinking 21 to 27 days from point it leaves Michigan might be a reasonable expectation for delivery to Charleston.

I poked chat to see if I could verify my truck had left the plant. I got an unexpected response. I have a railcar, but it says ETA at Dearborn on 5/16-5/22 (which is when it's supposed to be at the dealership). ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

At a certain point I am going to have to jump ship if the truck doesn't arrive sooner than the summer. I bought my 2004 F-150 over 18 years ago and I either have to sell or start putting a good amount of money to keep it as my daily driver. Wishing Ford could just have 1 target date instead of the constant date moves and lack of information. A clear communication chain with realistic dates would be a million times better than marketing model that is pretty much summed up with a roll of the dice and no attachment to reality.

I called my dealer a couple of weeks ago and he said the price that was on the order that I signed was the price I would pay.
